Prof. Fred Were’s Clinic – UHMC
Prof. Fredrick Namenya Were, MD, MMed, PhD, is s Professor of Perinatal and Neonatal Medicine at the University of Nairobi, the Head of the Unit of Child Health, and the Chief Research Adviser Executive Director of Kenya Paediatric Association. He is also a Visiting Professor at The Aga Khan University, East Africa.
Medical Services: Prof. Were provides clinical services at Kenyatta National Hospital as well as at his clinic located at Upper Hill Medical Centre (2nd floor). The paediatric care offered at the clinic includes the treatment for the full range of child health problems, including asthma, congenital defects and sleep disorders, neonatal care, acute care for minor illnesses and injuries and advanced care for chronic conditions.
